Strogili Hotel - Adults Only

John, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure you have a perfect stay, and all the staff are so friendly. Our room was spacious and cleaned every day. The hotel is immaculate and in a really quiet spot, with all amenities within walking distance. Cannot recommend it enough.

The location made getting around easy: it's peaceful, just a few minutes' walk from Kamari's main promenade, and only a 9 minute drive from the airport. We loved the place, especially the pool area with its palm trees. The photos don't do it justice, and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a tasty buffet with a great selection. The staff were so lovely and friendly, always smiling and happy to help. Highly recommend, and we hope to return soon :)

John did an outstanding job working evenings at the bar and deserves recognition. It was a pity there were so few guests there in the evenings. The pool bar was excellent, and we really enjoyed the delicious lunch. Our room service was excellent too, with everything kept spotless and restocked. The hotel is conveniently close to the sea. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and extremely comfortable beds at Strogili Hotel in Santorini. A top-notch stay that we can highly recommend.

We chose this adults only hotel for its location. The beach and town centre are a few minutes' walk away, and the bus stop is a little farther if you want to go to Fira or the wineries. The fare is 2 euro per trip. The staff gave us a great welcome and showed us to our room, which felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. It was adequate, with enough storage, clean and tidy rooms, and a decent bathroom. We'd booked a pool view, but instead looked onto other apartments with no real privacy. We asked reception and the manager about changing rooms. He said those views are only available when you book directly through their website, though he would try to move us. It took 6 days, despite people coming and going, and we were there for 11 nights. The pool bar was overpriced too, 9 euros for a beer that cost 3 euros at the mini market around the corner, and it wasn't very busy. For us, this felt more like a 3 star place than a 4 star one, and probably suits a 3-4 day stay best. It wasn't for us, which was a shame.
