The two people serving breakfast were excellent. The manager, though, was rude to several visitors and said he didn't care if anyone reported him, because people would keep coming for the views. After six trips to Skiathos, I know there are other hotels with views just as good and nicer people running them, so I'd tell anyone considering this place: don't go. My husband and I stayed from 12th to 19th September. We'd visited this beautiful island six times, and this was by far our worst hotel. We paid for a five-star stay and the five-star Greek tax, but the place felt more like a two- or three-star hotel. I've never complained before, but I've contacted the travel company because I wouldn't want anyone else in the same situation. Our room, 314, faced the hotel laundry and was very dark. The bathroom was the worst part and felt like a health hazard. It wasn't cleaned once all week. They left clean towels every day, but we mostly used them to mop up the leak under the sink.

We had a spacious bedroom, a good bathroom, and a sea view through the trees. The pool and poolside bar were excellent, and the food was very good. Breakfast had a superb range of choices. We ate outside while the moon was eclipsed, which was lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly. Lucas and Anna gave us great service. Beaches are just a short walk down the steps.

The hotel restaurant won us over once we tried it. We found the food better than at the nearby restaurants, and the views, atmosphere, and prices were better too, so we ate there after that. Breakfast had plenty of choice, though it wasn't lavish; it was quite adequate. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and the service. One small thing that could be improved is adding more towel hooks in the bathroom. We stayed at Cape Kanapitsa Hotel and Suites for four nights, Aug.30-Sept.3 2025, in a superior room with a sea view. It was spacious, had lots of useful storage and a mosquito screen, and the AC was appreciated. The balcony had a beautiful view. The hotel sits in a quiet part of the island overlooking a bay and a nice sandy beach, with a lovely pool and restaurant. The beach is an easy walk away. After one beach visit, we decided to spend our time by the pool and swim there instead. Everyone on staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. Maya at the front desk found us a room for early check-in, the maid service was good, and Anna in the main restaurant always had a smile. The bus stop isn't far away, and the bus runs every ten minutes during the day. There's also a small boat from the nearby beach into town. We took taxis to and from the airport and into town for a boat trip.

The room was fairly standard, but it was clean, had a sea view, and the staff who cleaned it were great. The pool and bar area is excellent, with gorgeous views across the bay and really good bar food. I've had attentive service on holidays before, but the staff here were on another level. Anna and her team were so lovely. We tried a few local restaurants with five-star reviews, and the hotel matched them, if not topped them. It isn't a five-star hotel, but the warm staff, surroundings, and food more than make up for a few silly stars. Thanks for a great holiday.

The views were breathtaking, and all three couples in our party were blown away by the service. The maids, maintenance guys, reception staff, and everyone else worked tirelessly to make our stay special. The bar and restaurant service was first class, and the food and drinks were delicious. The staff went above and beyond throughout, and my husband was so impressed. We spent nine nights here on our first trip to Greece. The hospitality was exceptional, and we'll definitely return. I'm already saving for another visit. I can't rate the place highly enough.
