We knew it was cheap, but didn’t expect it to be this basic, very two-star. The pool was nice, though there was no one in it. Most visitors seemed to be local Greeks, and the dogs and chickens were noisy every afternoon and early in the morning. You MUST HAVE A CAR!

We booked six nights about two weeks before arriving, but were told at check-in that the reservation had been cancelled. The owner claimed we’d called him and cancelled by phone during those two weeks, which we never did. I can’t say whether it was deliberate or a misunderstanding, but the owner handled it in the worst way. He told us to leave instead of talking it through calmly, and insisted that we had called him a liar. Whatever the reason for the cancellation, the way he handled the situation was insulting and unprofessional.

Tasos, the owner, is very friendly, and the rooms are great and clean. It’s a lovely, inexpensive choice with beautiful views and smells, plus free parking and great value for money. You do need a car to get around, as it’s about 10 minutes from civilisation.

We’ve been trying for months to get our deposit back. They took our money quickly, but when we had to cancel because of Covid, they completely ignored us. We believe they’re con artists and nothing short of thieves. Don’t stay there under any circumstances, and check out the other reviews.
