A friendly family-owned hotel with decent rooms, balconies, and daily housekeeping. The staff were nice, the pool was pleasant, and breakfast was okay. It’s just off the main road to Fira, with a convenient bus stop about a one-minute walk away.

I really don’t get the bad reviews. We had no issues with the room: it was clean, everything worked, and the AC is recent and runs quietly. The spacious room was in good shape, and the large fridge was a godsend for chilling water and other drinks, which you don’t often find in a hotel room. The shower is on the small side, sure, but I’m 194cm and managed fine. Breakfast had a decent selection, and the pool area was nice and well maintained.

The front desk staff were nice and willing to help where they could, and Fira is about a 20-minute walk away with some cute local shops nearby. But the rooms are tiny, and the shower felt impossibly cramped. I’m not a big person and could barely move in it. Breakfast was very average, and you can find better places for the same price.

The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable mattresses, and the bathroom was fine and had amenities. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, the service was efficient, and breakfast was good. Having parking was handy for us with a car. The walk to Fira takes about 15 minutes along the main road, though, and there’s no sidewalk, so going back and forth on foot isn’t very comfortable.
