The service was a real plus. They kindly served breakfast before 8 so we could catch our bus, and the bus station is nearby. Fira is around a 20-25 minute walk, with plenty of facilities close by. The hotel’s exterior looks modern and well kept, though the room furnishings and interior felt dated. Our bed was small and uncomfortable, and the curtains let in so much light that the room got bright early. The shower is tiny and only has a curtain, so water gets all over the bathroom floor; it also took about five minutes to warm up. Breakfast was basic but fine. Some items cost extra, though that didn’t affect us since breakfast was included. Given the price and distance to Fira, it’s still good value.

Kathrin made a big difference during our stay. She sorted out our bus and ferry tickets easily and shared great suggestions for restaurants, beaches, and tucked-away spots we wouldn’t have found ourselves. The hotel is within walking distance of Fyra, and there’s a bus stop nearby. We had an amazing time at Aldea and would definitely return. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Katerina treated us like family and made our second Santorini visit feel extra special. We stayed four nights, enjoyed talking with her on the rooftop, and heard lots about life on the island. She also suggested places to see and restaurants to try. The hotel is about a mile from Fira, and we walked there each day for sightseeing and bus connections. It was quiet and very clean. We absolutely loved the stay and will be back. Highly recommended.

We loved relaxing by the two clean pools in the afternoon, with comfortable loungers, after exploring the island. Our room was spotless, spacious, and had all the essentials. From the balcony at night, we could sit in the comfortable chairs and look at a sky full of stars. The area is peaceful, about 20 minutes from central Fira and the shops. The hotel doesn’t have the dramatic views you find elsewhere on the island, but it’s one of the better affordable choices if you have or rent a car. Katerina pointed us toward wonderful food and beautiful places, and she was generous with suggestions for less familiar spots, away from the usual tourist traps. Our first visit to Aldea was so good that we’ve already booked again for September. It’s excellent value and worth the money. Thanks to Katerina and the Aldea team for the memories. We can’t wait to return.

Katerina, the owner, was so friendly and always ready to listen or sort out any issues. Check-out was easy, and the customer service was excellent. The location was great, right next to Fira, and the pool was awesome, usually almost empty. My room had everything I needed and was very clean. They cleaned every day and left fresh towels, which I really appreciated. Highly recommended!
