The woman running the place was very kind and did her best to answer our questions, though she speaks only a little English, so simple questions work best. We’re both women aged 18-25, travelling solo together, and had a good time. Our room and bathroom were very clean, with AC and a small private balcony. There were a few flies inside when we arrived because the balcony door had been left open. At first the location didn’t seem ideal, but after exploring we found good restaurants nearby, a minimart around the corner, and the main bus station about a 15-minute walk away. The pool at this property isn’t available to guests, but there’s another one at a different villa about 15 minutes away on foot. There’s no beach nearby, so you have to take a bus. It was a great place to stay, though seeing the sights around Santorini takes a bit of effort.

The family were so sweet and caring. Emmanouela even helped us book attractions around the island. Our studio was spotlessly clean, had AC, and came with a small private balcony with a decent view. It’s in a great location, surrounded by an authentic town and good restaurants. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had. The place didn’t look like the pictures, and when we asked about the pool, they sent us to another villa about a 7-15 minute walk away. The woman working there was very nice, but the owner wasn’t helpful. We tried to rent bikes through him and were told it wasn’t possible, so we arranged them ourselves, even though they advertise guest discounts. The room was so humid that my friend got sick, and when we ran out of toilet paper, it was never replaced.

Thank you, yiayia Maria, for looking after us! From the moment we arrived, the family made us feel cared for and were willing to help with anything. Their hospitality was beautiful. Easily the friendliest family-run hotel in Santorini, maybe even Greece. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

It was difficult to find the hotel, and there was no reception or anyone there to welcome me. The room was quite dirty and full of flies. Exactly what I’d call an inconvenient place to stay, with no quality at all.
