We loved having a private villa with its own jacuzzi, and it looked stunning. The manager was amazing and just a text away whenever we needed something. Getting to Fira means a roughly 20-minute uphill walk, which can be a little hard unless you’re very fit or can drive. Still, it’s hard to want to leave a villa this nice!

We liked the jacuzzi, and the continental breakfast had a good range of choices. Every room was clean and had air conditioning, and there was parking for several cars. The nearby church of The Ref Mother has a red dome. The closest supermarket is a five-minute drive, though you can walk there too.

We only booked the premium suit for our last night after needing to switch hotels, and ended up wishing we’d stayed there for our whole Santorini visit. It’s a new building with very friendly staff, and Caludio brought breakfast right to the suite.

Breakfast was brought to our room each day with a smile, and the owner and staff were always friendly and glad to help with whatever came up. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a great mattress and everything we needed. It’s only a few minutes from everything, a perfect base for visiting Santorini. We were really happy with our choice.
