Pnoe Breathing Life (Adults Only)

The cold private pool was the one real drawback for us. We were there in late May and early June, and couldn’t really enjoy it. The hotel offered to heat it for €50, but I feel heating should be included in cooler months. It might not be an issue later in summer. The rest of our five days at Pnoe Breathing Life in June were amazing. The hotel is beautifully planned, comfortable as well as striking, and surrounded by well-kept greenery that gives it a special connection to nature. Our room was carefully designed, too. Everyone we met, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant team and management, was warm, professional, and eager to make our stay enjoyable. At Anassa, breakfast was fantastic. Ioanna was especially kind and attentive, and everything we tried from the menu, including the egg dishes and yogurt, was excellent. Dinner was mostly very good: the salmon seemed a little overcooked and less fresh than expected, while the seafood pasta with shrimp and octopus was outstanding. The beef was cooked exactly medium rare as requested, the truffle rice was delicious, and the sea bream with lemon sauce was perfectly prepared. We loved the desserts, too. The in-house pastry chef is extremely talented. A couple of drinks came out wrong, probably because of language misunderstandings, but the mix-ups were fixed quickly. Our included dinner at Thymises was creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. I only missed having traditional Greek coffee afterward. The hotel’s beach was excellent, with comfortable sunbeds, friendly service, and very good food and cocktails included in the package. There were no sharp stones in the water or on the shore. It’s around a ten-minute walk, which we enjoyed, or a quick two-minute shuttle arranged by reception. The Night Bar made every evening fun, with sunsets, cocktails, DJs, and dancers. Rafael deserves a special mention. I manage around 500 associates, and I’d love someone with his energy, attitude, and commitment on my team. The hotel has beautiful facilities and restaurants, and we’d gladly return. I’d rate it 9.5/10, with the unheated pool in cooler weather keeping it from a perfect score.

The pool area is lovely, clean, and relaxing, and the modern rooms are well-appointed. Staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering to help us contact the airport about our lost luggage. We were disappointed by the beach, though. It’s far away and in disrepair. Still, it’s a wonderful resort.

I stay in hotels often, including plenty of luxury ones, and this one really stood out. The rooms and facilities were immaculate, and everything looked as if it had just opened. Requests were dealt with quickly at any hour, and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into making the guest experience smooth. Well done to everyone involved. You should be proud of what you’ve created.

I’ve stayed at Pnoe twice already and plan to return next season in 2026. The restaurant and Uranus are beautiful, the interiors and room décor are stunning, and the meals are delicious. The service is respectful, open, and helpful, and everything is clean and well maintained. The location is excellent, with a lovely view for the evenings. My one reservation is Cicada beach. It’s a little off the beaten track, and walking along the shore only makes you appreciate how beautiful the place is. But I think the organized guest beach could be made more peaceful. It feels too noisy, with people constantly moving around between the sunbeds. That’s just my subjective opinion. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the service is top-notch. It’s the best.
