The beach worked well for us with little kids. There are rocky patches, but plenty of fine sand too, and some sandy spots stay shallow. The waves were big and the kids thought they were fun, though an adult needs to stay with them. We also really liked the setting. It’s a small place, with shops and the beach nearby, plus a bus stop if you want to head to Chania or elsewhere. The restaurant had delicious food and a gorgeous sea view, especially at sunset. The hotel itself was lovely, the owner and staff were friendly and made the kids laugh, and the cleaning was excellent.

We came for dinner about four times, though we didn’t stay at the hotel. The food was fantastic, fresh, tasty and well cooked, even if it took a little longer than some people might expect. Once they got an order wrong, but they apologised and fixed it, so I really can’t fault them. The staff were great, and one bad review we’d read didn’t put us off. We’d love to return and eat here again.

The staff were super nice, and the pool area was really good. The sea is very close too. The location itself felt a bit dull, but Chania and Agia Apostoli are nearby. The rooms were basic, maybe 3-star, while the food was extraordinary. We don’t usually eat at hotels, but the chefs here were so good.

We had a lovely sea view right from our room. The rooms feel a little old-fashioned, but they’re very clean. There’s a nice pool and a great restaurant by the beach, and the little hotel had everything we needed for a good holiday. ❤️
