Ioannis was a wonderful host, and this is a great base for exploring beaches along the west coast. Our room was modern, very clean, and had a stunning view. We also had free parking, and breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and Greek honey. Highly recommended!

You can start the day with a wonderful breakfast and a view over the Mediterranean Sea, then head to nearby restaurants or outstanding beaches. The rooms are great, too. Ioannis has a philosophical side and a good sense of humor, and he creates such a relaxed atmosphere that you can leave daily life behind and maybe even find yourself, if you're still looking. What more could you want? Absolutely recommended.

The peaceful location is close to beautiful beaches like Falassarna and good restaurants serving authentic Greek food. Our room was spacious, clean, fully equipped, and had a lovely balcony view. The host was so friendly and welcoming, always checking that we were comfortable. Breakfast was a treat, with lots of variety and everything fresh and tasty. We had a fantastic stay at Kaliviani Traditional Hotel and highly recommend this charming, peaceful place for a memorable visit to Crete.

The host was warm and attentive, which made my stay even better. I found the atmosphere peaceful and the location handy for getting to lots of great activity spots. The views were stunning, truly breathtaking, and this cosy hotel felt like a home away from home. I had an excellent experience.
