Charlie and the staff made us feel like family instead of hotel guests. The hotel is simple and intimate, right on the beach, with a very clean room and a door that opened straight toward the sea. The views are amazing, and at night we could hear the waves and enjoy the cool sea breeze. It was our first trip to Greece, and Long Beach was a big part of why it was unforgettable. Go visit, you won’t be disappointed.

The staff were the best, especially Charlie, who was so kind and helpful. We loved him. The rooms were clean and amazing, with ocean views right from them. You can’t beat that. Our room was the best of all our friends in town, and they loved the place too. Just book it!

Charly, the owner, is well known around town and knows all the good places to go. And if you fancy eating here, the salad burger is the best in town. The sea is less than 10 meters from your room, so beach lovers are in luck. A great place to rest can make a trip, and this one could be the start of an incredible holiday. We hadn’t even been in the water for a minute after arriving when a receipt was already on our table telling us to pay for the beds. There was also a notice saying you couldn’t have your own drinks on the beach beds because of the tax authorities. I don’t understand why so many people rave about this restaurant. That tax explanation sounds ridiculous to me. Food from the supermarket has been taxed too, and is this rule really only for Long beach restaurant on Samos? It comes across as money-hungry.

The rule wasn’t very clear or noticeable. My wife missed the card saying a set of sunbeds cost 7 euros, and we took two beds placed on opposite sides of the table. The place stayed completely empty the whole time, but we were still charged for two sets. So we paid 14 euros instead of 7. We had a bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
