Mr George, the hotel manager, went out of his way all week to make sure we were looked after and having fun. It was great to see the boss engaging with guests and making that extra effort. Many thanks to Mr George and the whole team, and I hope we'll see you again soon. My family and I had a really enjoyable stay. The staff and service were first class, the food was delicious, and the entertainment team were friendly and worked hard to keep everyone amused and active. Kos itself is beautiful too, and I'd highly recommend a visit.

This place clearly had its luxurious days, but the rooms and bathrooms now feel dated. We had taps that worked poorly, some basic switches were missing, and the hairdryer was old and barely usable. Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent, and finding a centipede in the bathroom was unpleasant. The pool was far too cold to enjoy and could use better cleaning; the loungers around it were old and uncomfortable. I booked three weeks ahead after reading plenty of reviews, so I arrived with moderate expectations. The staff were generally helpful, though only at a basic level, and at least they weren't rude. Rooms and dining areas were cleaned regularly. There was always food available and enough variety to find something at any time, but the taste wasn't impressive. Breakfast and dinner were better, while lunch struck me as quite bland. I hope management pays attention to the many reviews and invests in the renovation the hotel needs. It would be a shame to let a place like this decline further.

After awful miscommunication the day before our flight, we were told we'd been moved because they didn't have room for us at this hotel. We'd booked in January 2025 and had our stay confirmed, and I wouldn't have confirmed if I knew we'd be moved anyway. At the other hotel we found a hole in the wall, a dirty bathroom, and felt completely out of place. We'd gone 24 hours without eating because of the confusion, and the whole thing had been stress and tears. When we reached Kipriotis hotel & suites at 11am, they told us our room would be ready at 2:00. Then we waited another hour and a half, only to be told check-in was at 3pm and the room still wasn't ready. We asked for a manager, and were told “the manger isn’t about at the moment until 6pm”. From the start, communication was poor and unhelpful. Staff were often dismissive and sometimes plainly rude, with little interest in sorting anything out or giving the service you'd expect from a five star property. The atmosphere and service were well below what was advertised. This is more like a struggling three star hotel at best, and for the price, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was unacceptable. I rarely leave a negative review, but I found the experience extremely disappointing and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for good service, respect, or a real luxury stay.

The restaurant staff were the bright spot, always kind, smiling, and ready to help. The food was okay, although the end-of-season feel was obvious: coffee machines were out of order all week, and the selection shrank day by day. Bar staff seemed annoyed and unmotivated, and the bar shut earlier than scheduled. We also saw alcohol being served to minors, which was completely unacceptable. Some of the kids later got sick in the elevators and restrooms. The lift situation was worrying. Only two elevators worked, they often broke down, and several times stopped between floors with the doors only partly open. Waiting could take up to 15 minutes, a real problem with a small child and stroller. Our bathroom also had a drain beside the toilet that made the room smell constantly. The tennis court looked abandoned, with a torn net and a surface too old to use. At the pool, the lifeguard was rude to children and even shoved one with his shoulder instead of explaining the rules calmly. There was no pool music because the equipment was apparently broken and never fixed. From outside, the hotel looks nice, and the lobby and reception give a good first impression, but the rest needs renovation and better management. This is far from five star, perhaps it deserved that years ago, but now barely merits three. I can't recommend it.
