KOIA all-suite Wellbeing Resort

The staff made our short honeymoon stay feel personal from the beginning. Everyone we met was friendly, polite, helpful, hospitable, and incredibly professional. They got to know us in just a little time, and I honestly couldn’t single out even one person who didn’t make us feel looked after. There were too many people to name, but I hope the resort sees this as praise for every member of the team. Our room was roomy and well equipped, and lounging by the pool made it easy to spend the whole day there. The food was terrific too. Even near the end of the season, there was plenty to choose from, and we enjoyed it all.

A few little changes would make the visit even better: the gym needs more equipment, or at least a working treadmill, and it’d be great if the indoor spa pool were heated. We’d also suggest renting a car. There’s plenty of parking, and having one makes exploring the island much easier. That aside, Koia Resort felt like a quiet hideaway, with spacious, lovely rooms and a real sense of privacy. The views were beautiful from the pool, restaurant, and our terrace. We enjoyed excellent dinner and a generous breakfast buffet with fresh food. Maria’s wine workshop was another highlight, with tasty food, clear explanations, and a relaxed atmosphere. The spa massage was one of the most professional treatments we’ve had. Nikos at reception was especially kind and helpful, and Alex in the restaurant made every meal nicer with his professional, attentive service.

Koia has such a calm feel, and the views are unreal. It’s one of the most peaceful places I’ve stayed. The suites were spotless and really stylish, and the whole place feels made for relaxing. The staff were kind, laid-back, and clearly cared about helping us have a restful stay. I can’t wait to come back next summer.
