The hotel could make arrivals much more welcoming by giving guests information at check-in about facilities and meal times. Some reception staff seemed fed up, and we didn't feel welcome when we arrived. The room phones were dead, so we couldn't call reception. By the end, I wasn't keen to deal with them anyway. Our week-long stay was at the end of September 2025 in a Block B Junior Suite. The location was excellent for the long, soft-sand beach, which was peaceful and free of water-sports noise. The grounds were pretty, with lovely plants and trees, and the pool areas were well maintained. It was a 15-minute walk to Lido waterpark, with buses to nearby towns and plenty of amenities close by. The airport was about 20 minutes away, and many historic sites were a 20-30 minute drive. Freshly cooked restaurant food was nice, including grilled fish, pork, spaghetti made in a cheese wheel, and roast duck. The desserts, especially the baklava, were great. Cleaning and restaurant staff were friendly and always smiled. There were some issues with cleanliness. The bathroom needed a thorough clean, coffee grounds from the previous guests were still in the kettle, and the cups were replaced only once. Floors were cleaned and towels and toilet paper replenished, but there often weren't enough towels for two people. Drainage around Block B smelled. At 7 each morning, cleaning staff shouted loudly behind the pool bar, which made it hard to catch up on rest. We had a perfectly pleasant stay and I'd recommend the location and amenities, including the on-site car rental and excursions. A proper welcome with practical information at check-in would've made a big difference.

The animation team was a highlight of our week. There was plenty to do during the day, but it was easy to avoid if you wanted a quiet time. Each evening had a one-hour show, and the performances were fantastic. Matilde led the team with warmth, professionalism, and a great mood. Piotr, Emma, and Federico were especially friendly. The shows Matilde plans and choreographs are an amazing achievement, and DJ Laris created a top-notch sound and atmosphere in the evenings. The room was clean enough overall, and the cleaning staff were always friendly and tried their best. But the towels were dirty and didn't smell fresh, and the room was very small for three people with three suitcases. For a four-star hotel, the dining area wasn't what I expected. Drink dispensers and unstable tables were uncovered; when there were tablecloths, they were often dirty, and water dripped from the ceiling air conditioning. The buffet repeated many of the same dishes, and it was easy to see how much food was wasted. The evening chefs, Khan and Qasim, were very friendly and did their best. Most restaurant and bar staff were friendly too, but reception staff were rather unfriendly and uninterested, apart from Ilias and Alex, who were fantastic and always smiling. I really disliked how much plastic the hotel used. It felt stuck in the past, as if the harm plastic does to the environment wasn't understood. There were plastic straws and single-use cups everywhere, including on the floor by the pool and in the pool. For ashtrays, they handed out plastic cups with a little water in them. Thanks for a lovely week. With less plastic, cleaner dining areas, and some modernization, we might come back.

A big thank you to the cleaning staff for room G4203 during the first week of October 25. We've never had such a warm, thoughtful welcome. The room was always very clean, and we hope our tip reached the right lady. We really appreciate your work. Best, Christina

We're staying at this hotel for the second year in a row, and it's such a pleasure to be here. It's luxurious and clean, and the staff are respectful and professional. Just perfect, bravo! We loved the animation team. They're there for guests all day and put on magnificent shows in the evening. Matilda, Frederico, Alessia, and the rest of the team, you're excellent :)
