Grand Blue Beach Apartments & Suites

We liked the place enough to extend our stay twice. From the lodges, the bed faces the sea and horizon, and the layout is really well thought out. A lovely garden leads straight down to the umbrellas and sunbeds on Xi Beach. The one drawback is that guests from nearby hotels sometimes cut through the garden to reach the beach. Sparos is an excellent restaurant about a 10-minute walk along the shore.

The setting was the best part for us: whether we were on the lovely veranda or down on the red sand beach, everything felt peaceful and serene. The welcome and amenities were worth more than five stars, too. Staying at Grand Blue Residences was an unbelievable experience, and we’ll certainly come back. 100% recommended!

The Ammos Suite is a two-bedroom apartment in an annex behind the main building, with its own entrance and a small deck. Out front there’s another large sea-view deck that we enjoyed using. We especially loved the nearly empty Xi Beach, just steps away, for quiet morning and evening walks. The scenery felt quite special compared with the other beach areas we visited on the island. We stayed five nights on the Paliki Peninsula, and this was a perfect choice. The outdoor space is simple but nicely decorated, while inside was spotless and had everything we needed. The mid-stay cleaning was a nice touch. Nisoi Vardianni Tavern is a great traditional restaurant a short walk from the villa. We had dinner there every evening, so make sure to check it out.
