Ariadni Palace Apartments

The food was disappointing overall. The calamari starter was nice, the pizza was okay, and the pork with roquefort cheese tasted good, though the meat was tough. The service let the meal down. Mum was charming, but the young man came across as playfully aggressive from the start. It got tiring, then nearly unbearable and embarrassing. Our adult children left early, and my wife and I made excuses to get out as soon as we could. Given the restaurant's elevated position in town, it could be better. We were drawn in by the man tossing pizza dough in the air from his spot at the front. We certainly wouldn't return.

The restaurant is worth a visit too. The food is delicious, the menu is broad and very reasonably priced, and they'll try to accommodate you if you ask for something that's not listed. Shops are all around, with a supermarket literally next door. The pool is lovely for a swim or a rest on a hot day, it wasn't busy, and there were plenty of beds. Studios have amazing views, either over the street or the pool. As a solo woman travelling, I felt completely comfortable and welcome with this friendly, helpful family. I've been back four times this past year and will return soon. The apartments are clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. I love these apartments and restaurant, and the cocktails made by friendly bartender Amvrosia (sorry bad spelling!) are out of this world. I can't fault the place at all. It feels like my second home, and I'm so grateful to the family and staff for making each stay so good.

The best pizzas in Koutouloufari are here. I'd recommend eating here, having a beer, and soaking up the vibe while chatting with the owners or the awesome bartender Ambrosios. He's a real bartender, and his 2025 drink list has some must-tries, like the basil/cucumber drink. My family and I stayed for a couple of weeks in May and are planning to come back in September. I miss this place, and we love this family. What an amazing family running the hotel: they make you feel at home as soon as you arrive, with safety, great service, good energy, and lots of laughs. We loved our stay at Ariadni Palace Hotel. My shares the same name. The hosts were caring and very friendly, and helped us with all the information we needed. It's in a quiet town away from traffic, with an easy walk to the amenities and close to the beach. Beautiful view.
