The people here made the stay feel personal. The breakfast waiter wrapped up two pieces of spanakopita for the road in aluminium foil, just like my father used to, and the owner carried my suitcase through town for two corners to get it to my friend’s car. Everyone was friendly in a way that felt like family. The beds were fantastic. I usually need a soft mattress, and the single room’s spring mattress had just the right feel for sleeping somewhere unfamiliar. The Bauhaus style is tastefully done, with suitcases reused at reception, lovely murals in the breakfast area and stairwell, and handmade pieces by local artists, including pottery, placed around the hallways. The murals make each floor and room feel different. It’s right in the middle of Larissa’s cafés, and there’s a disability access ramp and lift. If you have a rental car, you can drive through the pedestrian zones to reach the underground parking, which is free. I loved this hotel. Couldn’t give it enough stars.

We were unsure at first because of the 3.6 rating, but our two-night stay at the Metropol Hotel turned out to be good value. The location was excellent, the staff helpful, breakfast good, and free parking was a nice extra. Just be thoughtful about where you park if you’re leaving early, since some guests took up space and made it hard for others to get out. Otherwise, everything was great and we’d definitely recommend it.

We’ve brought students here for years and always leave pleased. The rooms are modern, clean and feel safe, and the staff are friendly and there whenever you need something. It’s a great location for a business trip, a holiday or a family visit to Larissa.

For the price, this is about as good a hotel as you can expect: simple, comfortable and fairly priced. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re clean and look recently renovated. The lobby is nicely decorated, and the staff were very friendly. It’s right in the town center, surrounded by restaurants and bars. There’s a parking garage of its own, reached by driving about 20 meters along a pedestrian street. It’s completely manageable if you have a little courage.

The rooms were very clean and the staff polite during my two-day stay. Since the hotel is in the city center, it’s easy to head out on foot and explore.
