Golden Valentin Apartments

The balcony was large and had a nice view, but you need a car to stay here. I didn't like the apartment. Showering was a challenge because of the low bathroom ceiling, and it smelled old. It looked nothing like the pictures.

We've stayed at Dia apartments twice and will be back again. The rooms are clean, the staff couldn't be friendlier, and Angela makes a great breakfast. It's a lovely little place, even if it isn't a five-star hotel.

The family of cats roaming around may be the only good reason to book Golden valentin. You don't know what sort of room you'll get, even if you make specific requests in advance. They don't seem to care and just say they're fully booked. The hosts made us feel threatened, pushed around and bullied. At 7 am, the Greek Arnold shouted at our door, “I don’t care if I lose my job, I will destroy you.”

There's no restaurant, just a bar, but it's a short walk down the hill to the centre of chersonissos. Free parking is available, and the air conditioning costs €7 per night. After reading some bad reviews, we were a little worried, but we had no complaints. It's not a luxury villa, and that's not what you pay for. The owners were very nice, nothing like what we'd read in the comments. The place was clean, which matters a lot to us, and the beds were perfectly fine to sleep in, though not luxurious.
