We kept wanting to come back. Dinner on the hotel’s lovely terrace was the best restaurant experience we had in Tilos, with Greek food done to perfection and served with care and guidance. It’s a worthwhile evening trip out of Livadia.

We found this taverna not far from where we were staying and returned once more before leaving Tilos. The staff were attentive and kind, and the food was all good. We especially liked the salads, gemista, moussaka and ekmek katayfi. Alongside the traditional dishes, we also got to try some new combinations. Enjoy!

For a properly relaxing break, Faros was just right. The rooms and restaurant were both wonderful, and there’s a cute beach right in front of the rooms. Dimos, Mrs Roula and Mrs Eleni were such good hosts in a beautiful, very quiet spot at Livadia port. We’d definitely recommend it for peaceful holidays and great food.

We only ate there, but came back several times. The family cooking was terrific: rooster in wine, moussaka, Horta/vlitha and kadaifi pudding were all highlights. Best enjoyed in the evening, with a view across the bay to livadia.

Getting there takes a bit of a walk, but it’s worth it for the lovely hosts and fantastic food. The place is right on the beach.
