La Cite Hotel

The pool was spotless and really deep, just right for cooling off, and the gardens were lovely. The kittens were so cute! We spent time outside because the lounge indoors felt a bit gloomy. Our large, modern-for-Greece room had a small balcony but a spectacular view, plus free air con. It’s a quiet spot, a short walk from restaurants and the harbour, with the beach only a couple of minutes away. Breakfast was basic but had what you needed, and the food was pretty good too. The owners and staff were excellent, giving us such a warm welcome all week. Things got a little jumbled now and then, but it was fun working through it. Thanks, love Paul, Paul, Paul and Zoe’Paul

The location is brilliant, just a four-minute walk to the square and eight minutes to the beach. We’re staying here for 16 nights. The rooms feel a little dated, but they have aircon, and we only sleep in them anyway. Most of the time we’re around the pool, where the staff look after us brilliantly. They work so hard to make sure everyone’s well taken care of. Breakfast is the usual continental spread, ham and cheese, bread, jams and so on. Every now and then there’s a treat of bacon and scrambled egg.

A lovely little place, with beautiful gardens and a pool area. The rooms are compact, but very clean and well equipped. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

A relaxing hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly, helpful and always ready to do what they can for you. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day, while the pool area and gardens are kept tidy and clean. There are lots of sunbeds and shady spots in the garden. Breakfast is a plentiful continental spread, and the daytime food is always fresh and very good.
