Oliva Beach Studios & Apartments

This was one of the best of the five places we stayed in Santorini and Crete. It’s super spacious and has everything: a kitchen, large bathroom and shower, bedrooms, a closet and a washing machine.

Oliva Beach is right on the beach, with three tavernas, Mikes Apartments bar and a small supermarket just minutes away. The apartments are boutique, clean and well equipped. Sophia greets you with a smile and goes out of her way to help. My Trip Advisor review has more information.

The apartment felt magnificent, almost like being at home, and had everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. It was spotless. The pool and loungers were clean and comfortable too. My family and I spent a week at this wonderful Oliva Beach Hotel/ Apartments, and Sophia and her team were attentive to every detail. They answered all our questions about places to visit, where to eat and excursions, keeping our budget in mind. Sophia clearly wants every guest to have the best experience at Hotel Oliva and in the surrounding area. Five stars don’t seem enough. I’d give it ten if I could. We used the hotel as a base for visiting beaches like Elafonissi, Balos and Fallasarna, since the beach out front was terrible. Palanias, with its restaurants and shops, is just a few minutes’ drive away. Chania, a quaint town with an Old Venetian Port, is about 15 minutes away. The Oliva Hotel and Apartments is like a boutique hotel, beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean, unlike anything I’ve seen in my extensive travels. Our unit was comfortable and had what we needed to make simple meals. The secluded pool area felt like a little piece of heaven. We really enjoyed our stay.
