Sunny Suites worked really well for us. The self-catering rooms had pretty much what we needed, TVs in both rooms, and free air-conditioning, which made the holiday feel like a bargain. The cleaners were brilliant and came by daily. The pool bar is excellent, and everyone there was friendly and looked after us, especially George, Pedros, Manos, little Manos, and Manos from the Gee Pass when he occasionally stopped in. Many thanks to you all. Bravo Olympiacos, that was a great night! The beach is about a five-minute walk, down beside the Imperial, where you can also use their beds and lively bar. Mike and Angelos at the bar are good fun. Buses stop around 100 yards up the road and run regularly to Chania and the resorts in between, as well as in the other direction to Kolymbari and Kissamos. Great holiday, YAMAS.

The owner and staff were so friendly, and we absolutely loved our stay at sunny suites. It was the best holiday we’ve had in a long time. Can't wait to come back.

We've stayed twice now at this lovely family-run place. It's relaxed and quiet, with a great pool and bar, and the staff are lovely. The neighboring town is just down the road if you want a bit more bustle, and the beach is a short walk away. The rooms are cleaned regularly.

For two weeks, Sunny Suites was just right for our family. The staff were welcoming, and the rooms were cleaned daily. They’re compact, but have cooking facilities and utensils, plus an iron and hairdryer. Pool bar is the main hotel facility, handy for a snack or drink, and the pool area was clean and well organized, with enough space for everyone. We found loungers every day, and nobody was saving them before heading out all day. There aren't many bars right nearby, but we found plenty within a 10-minute walk. Chania old town is a 20-minute bus ride. For our family of four it cost 7.5 Euro each way, with our youngest, who was four, traveling free.

The maids' service was 10/10, and George, Pedro and Manos at the poolside bar were the best. They make amazing pizzas. Big Manos, the owner, is a great, down-to-earth guy. He has a few businesses, but when he comes to sunny suites he makes the time to talk with you and make you feel part of the family. The Cretan people are like no others on this earth. Absolutely fantastic place, and I'd recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Definitely going back.
