Kalypso Hotel

The gardens and the whole building complex looked amazing, and I adored the reception girlies. They were so friendly and helpful. It's a family owned hotel, and you can feel how eager the owner is to give every visitor a great stay. The rooms were made up neatly every day, the staff were lovely and ready to help at any time, and the service was 10/10. I loved the Greek hospitality and that family owned feeling. The breakfast and dinner were tasty, and time by the pool was relaxing. Thank you for the lovely smiles and a great experience. Until next time!💕💕

The buffet suited our taste, though it didn't have as much choice as the big touristy box hotels. Staff at the tables were so sweet, remembered our drinks by the second day, and always greeted us with a smile and friendly words. We stayed seven days and loved every minute. The hotel felt familiar, and the offset rooms gave a sense of privacy. Everything was clean and functional. Getting to the beach meant crossing a small road and following another hotel's garden path. It took about five minutes at a slow pace. The waves were quite strong, so it may not suit smaller children. Restaurants, bars and souvenir shops line the road on either side, but the noise didn't reach the hotel. Our favorite was a tavern next to the kalypso, whose funny owner spoke English and German. I'd stay there again. Loved it!

Maria Brazil and her colleagues are so friendly, and the service is great. The hotel is a lovely, recommendable place, not too big and well kept. It's a few minutes' walk from the beach, and the pool is fantastic too. Clearly recommended! 😊

The only downside? Our stay was too short. We requested a few things before arriving, and the hotel replied straight away and arranged them. The rooms are stylish, spotless and very comfortable, with air conditioning, a Nespresso, fridge and safe. The pool area is just as comfortable, with good beds, plenty of shade, plus lunch and drinks served there. Hotel guests can use the beach at Ikaros hotel. Breakfast was outstanding, with loads of high quality options, and dinner was really good too. There was a different selection each day, including a fresh salad bar with plenty to choose from. The grilled lamb ribs we had yesterday were delicious, and we also tried fish, chicken, pork and Greek meat dishes. No regular restaurants around the hotel could match the quality of food here. All the employees were kind and friendly, and the service made the whole holiday at Kalypso hotel. We’ll definitely return and recommend it without hesitation. This hotel isn't four stars, we'd give it five!
