The staff were so lovely, extremely friendly and nice. Almost everything was perfect. The shower head kept turning downwards instead of staying put, though it was fine if you held it, and the Wi-Fi didn’t reach the upper rooms. You can weigh your luggage in the lounge for 1€.

I’ve been to Crete many times, but this was my first stay in Stalis. I chose it because I wanted to be near the airport, and it turned out to be a great choice. The family run beach hotel is a simple, lovely place to get away from the busy routine. My five-day break was fabulous, and I enjoyed every minute and really relaxed. I love Crete.

My daughter and I stayed nine nights and left on 26/08/2022. I want to give a fair and honest review. The hotel has a lovely pool and is right beside the beach. We booked room only, but the food we tried was lovely, and there were staff at the bar during the day. Everyone working there was helpful and friendly, and one staff member said they planned to renovate the rooms the following year. When we first arrived, a very friendly and helpful woman checked us in and gave us our keys. The place looked nice until we saw our room. After a 12-hour journey, we were shocked by how old everything looked, from the whitewashed walls to the furniture. It was really clean, though, and we decided to make the most of it since we’d mostly be sleeping there. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned every day. Apart from the dated furniture, we had no issues, though it was a shame there was no kettle. Overall, it’s worth a stay, and we had a wonderful holiday.

The only issue for us was the Wi-Fi, though it didn’t bother me and my girlfriend much because we didn’t spend much time in the room. The owners were very pleasant and friendly, and I highly recommend this hotel. It’s on the main street among the restaurants, bars, and shops, just 50m from the beach. Rooms were cleaned every day and drinks at the bar were reasonably priced.

A solid two-star hotel in a very good spot, close to tourist attractions and with easy access to the sea, about 100m away. The staff were very friendly, and there’s a bar and pool on site. Rooms have a TV and fridge, are cleaned daily, and towels are changed every 3 days. Breakfast is included, but very basic. The main downside is that air conditioning costs extra, and the room gets hot. Wi-Fi doesn’t reach all rooms, and where it does, the speed is average.
