Mary at the bar seemed like the person to go to if anything came up. She was always around to help with concerns and say good afternoon or good night, and she really seemed to care about the guests. The owners were often there too and easy to approach. Mary’s husband, who I believe is called Harry, was the chef, and his cooking was amazing. Every meal I had was made to a high standard with quality ingredients. The chef’s special on chef’s night when I visited was lamb shank and masaka, and both were great. It's a small, cozy hotel with a friendly feel, kept clean and tidy, and with a good-sized pool. The food and drinks were high quality and very reasonably priced. You can buy water, juice, and milk for your room at the bar, which saves the walk. The people running the place are great, and the food is excellent. It's popular with repeat guests, which says a lot. If you can get a booking and want a small, friendly hotel about 10 minutes' walk from the beach, give it a go.

We’ve always loved the family feel here and catching up with old friends. We know the owners well and they always look after us. Things are different this year because of the pandemic, but they’re still willing to help with anything.

The rooms are a very high standard, and you’re close to both the beach and restaurants. Everyone’s so friendly that you quickly feel like part of the family, which is why people return year after year. Yeorgus and Elaine are lovely and make you feel welcome from the start. It’s an amazing place.

Even with Covid-19 on the island, we had a great stay. It’s a family-run place, with easy access to the beach, bars, and restaurants. Thanks to all the salavantakis family for making us feel so welcome. We’ll be back next year.
