Melissa Apartments, Studios & Suites

We had a really clean, well-kept room and a beautiful pool, with lovely staff throughout our stay. The location worked especially well: clubs are only about a five-minute walk away, but far enough that we couldn’t hear the strip at night. They’re very strict about noise after 10 pm, for good reason. We highly recommend it and plan to return.

In old Malia, with the beach and the newer part of town both within walking distance, the location was ideal. The apartment itself was spotless and completely new, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did miss having a cutting board and tea towel in the kitchen, but we’d still recommend the place.

The rooms were clean and roomy, and the owners were really nice. We had a very good stay, and the location was just right too. We’d happily come back.

The only thing to be aware of is that there wasn’t a TV in our room, though that wasn’t an issue for us. Melissa apartments is quiet, yet only about five minutes on foot from both the lovely old town and the main street with its shops and bars. There’s a big pool, plenty of loungers and umbrellas, plus a nice bar serving different kinds of food. Our room had a comfortable bed, good towels and linen, a great shower, a well-equipped kitchen and a large balcony. The family who run the place, along with the rest of the staff, were delightful, welcoming and went out of their way to help. We stayed one night and will definitely return. It’s great value, and I highly recommend it.
