The gardens are beautifully kept, and the peaceful setting made for a relaxing holiday. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of fresh, tasty options. Lunch and dinner could be better in overall quality, though. Nikki at the front desk deserves special thanks for her professionalism and kindness, especially for making our last day unforgettable. We had a great stay and highly recommend Kouros Palace Hotel in Kos.

The staff and service were very, very good, and that really deserves emphasis. My family and I stayed for the last week of August 2025 and were all happy with the experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and although they may look dated, that doesn’t bother me. I wasn’t expecting gold-plated faucets. The atmosphere was relaxed and child-friendly. The food was fairly basic but varied, and I liked it. My wife is pickier than me and the kids are very picky, but they were happy with it too. The kids loved spending the day in either of the two pools, and the kids disco every night was the highlight of their holiday. The Kids Club could perhaps have offered more daytime events or activities. The playground was really good, but without shade it wasn’t usable for most of the day. The beach is very close, a few hundred metres away, though it’s not right outside the front door. One day there was a lot of seaweed; the next day there wasn’t, and it was one of the best beaches I’ve ever been on. There’s a little shop nearby that might be overpriced, but I didn’t notice, and it seemed to have anything anyone would need. Planes do fly directly overhead, but they weren’t disruptive and didn’t bother us or seem to bother anyone else. There were a few minor issues, but I was very happy at Kouros Palace, would visit again and would recommend it.

Our room badly needs renovation. The cleaning was only every other day, and even then it was barely done. There was dust everywhere, with trash left by previous guests above and under the bed. The bathroom was shocking, with mold on the tiles, very slow water flow and a terrible mold smell. Soundproofing was poor too. Outside the room, the grounds were large, well maintained and full of greenery, from roses to banana trees, which made a lovely impression. The pools were great, and the bartenders made cocktails professionally. The food was good as well, thanks to the chefs. I especially loved the wide choice of fish every day, along with cheese and olives. I really hope management pays attention to the state of the rooms, because it matters a lot.

This is our second year here as a couple, and we’re planning to book again next year. The all-inclusive is great and has good variety, though I’d ask that the allergy information at the buffet be filled out properly. The staff made sure we felt looked after and left a great impression. Both guys at the main bar, the two Georges, went above and beyond for us, and Billy always took care of our table. Riggs is a great entertainer, hosting events by the pool during the day and in the main bar every few evenings. See you all next year!
