Panagioula

Methana turned out to be such a lovely surprise. Its natural scenery, clean and comfortable beaches, and thermal springs made the visit special, all with a slow, simple pace. We'd traveled around Greece quite a bit but had never been here before, and I feel the place deserves more publicity. The municipality of Troizinia could probably do more, too. Our rooms were clean and fully equipped, with a wonderful sea view. Panagioula & Giorgos were hospitable, discreet, polite, and always there when we needed information. The location was ideal, with easy access everywhere.

Giorgos and Panagioula were so kind and considerate, ready to help with anything. We felt as if we'd known them for years. The rooms are an easy base for exploring beautiful Methana, and Poros is less than an hour away by ferry. Ours was No. 8 on the second floor, overlooking the harbor. The inside was renovated and very clean, though the outside could use a little work. The building is about 150m from the ship's hatch and close to shops, bakeries, cafes, and taverns. The beach and thermal waters are nearby, too. You can go for a dip right in front, down a small staircase to the spotless pier. The rooms are decent and affordable. For a meal, I'd recommend "Kapilio tis Vassos kai tou Vasilis" just a few meters away. It's a family business with homemade food, reasonable prices, and good portions. The owners were ready to help with whatever we needed, and I really appreciate that. Our room was fully renovated, spotless, and had a lovely view. Everything we needed was close by since it's centrally located. We had a wonderful vacation in Methana this year. I hope the owners have made a good start, and we'll definitely return.

We were completely happy with our stay. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless and had air conditioning. The location is right in central Methana, so restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and everything else are within walking distance.
