The stone grounds have maze-like paths, lots of steps, and narrow passages that really bring medieval times to mind. The rooms are cozy, with unusual views of both the ocean and castle, in an amazing spot in an ancient castle town. There’s no hot pot or way to make coffee in the room, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, working less often than not. The front desk didn’t seem to know how to keep the internet connection running.

Mrs. Voula and Alex made us feel at home with their genuine smiles, kindness, and readiness to help. They’re attentive, wonderful hosts, and their hospitality made our stay especially memorable. Likinia is charming, full of character, and beautifully cared for. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved breakfast, with homemade food and coffee among blackberry bushes and flowers. The service was excellent, and the room was beautiful and spacious, with a balcony that was lovely for watching the sun rise and set. The balcony looks out over the old square and the Mediterranean Sea. Such a stunning location. We only wish we’d stayed longer.

The hostess was so kind that, when we arrived, she offered us the suite even though we hadn’t booked it, since it was free that day. We loved the place. Our room was spacious, clean, and had great views. We had a fantastic stay and definitely recommend it.

The staff were friendly and helpful, with tips on places to eat and visit. When we checked out, one of them even carried our luggage all the way to the city gate. Fresh Greek-style breakfast was served on a beautifully decorated terrace, and toiletries, slippers, robes, and towels were provided. They changed the towels daily. Right in the heart of the historic town, the apartments are close to the main street with its shops and restaurants. They’re spacious, clean, and modern, while the furniture and design keep a historic feel. This was a wonderful stay, and when we come back to Monemvasia, this is the only place we’ll stay.
