Panagiotas house, Monemvasia

We spent four nights here, and the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. The place is in an excellent spot, with sea and mountain views from the terrace. Everything was spotless and we had all we needed to feel at home. The fridge was stocked for a generous breakfast: jams, butter, cold cuts, cheeses, milk, juice, fruit, and three kinds of coffee. They even brought wood for the fireplace and organic oranges from their farm. Thanks so much for the hospitality. Hope to see you again.

Dimitris, his wife Panagiota, and the whole family made our four-night stay a great one. The terrace looks out over both the sea and the mountain, and the house was spotless, with everything we needed to feel at home. Their fridge was stocked with breakfast food and several kinds of coffee. The organic oranges from their farm were something else. Since it was my first time there, they also gave me helpful directions for places to eat and swim, among other things. I left with a full fridge, and I'd happily go back at the first chance.

The house is in a lovely high spot on the mountain, with a view and plenty of quiet. You will need a car to get around, so it suits families or groups who plan to explore by car. Inside, it's modern, spacious, and well kept, with a large comfortable bathroom, good beds, and even shampoo. The couple had left lots of treats in the fridge and cupboards, and were attentive with local tips and answers to our questions. We didn't need air conditioning during our one-night stay. We'd choose them again if we're back in the area.

The hosts were wonderful and so helpful, and we had everything we needed. The place was spotless, with plenty of breakfast supplies. Set high on the mountain, the house has two balconies, lots of space, and has been fully renovated. It's an easy choice for the area, without hesitation. We'll be back soon.
