Villa Luisa Exclusive Residences

Alex welcomed us and made us feel at home, and we appreciated how available he was and all the suggestions he shared about places to explore. The flat was spacious, with two balconies, one looking straight at the scenic rock of Monemvasia. Air conditioning worked very well, which mattered in the summer heat. The bathroom was quite narrow, though. We enjoyed the decent sized pool shared with the other residents, but a few more sun umbrellas would be helpful. Monemvasia is a 15-minute drive away, and beautiful Ambelakia beach is nearby.

The villa has excellent apartments for rent, with a top view across the Aegean Sea to Monemvasia castle. The pool is wonderful and spacious.

The complex has a lovely layout and location, close to Monemvasia, with excellent views, comfortable rooms, good equipment, large balconies and a swimming pool. The main issue was upkeep and cleanliness. There were torn screens, rusty shutters and dirty walls, and our house hadn't been cleaned properly. We asked them to clean it again, so we could only settle in at 7 pm, and we were cleaning at the same time to catch up. During our eight nights there with six people, no cleaning was provided and neither towels nor sheets were changed. We had to request extra towels. Both bathrooms had shower curtains that let water flood the floor every time we showered, which shouldn't be the case in 2025. The accommodation needs more care to justify the price and deliver the hospitality it promises. It's a shame, because the building and area are really nice.
