The design and decor really stood out, and my sister, who works in interior design, loved it. The place was spacious and clean, and I got lots of lovely portraits. I also appreciated the free airport pickup and drop-off. I had a packed schedule exploring town, so I only spent a few hours here each day. I’d suggest leaving at least half a day to relax and eat at the hotel. I watched the sunrise from my jacuzzi. Breakfast was average, but the à la carte food was superb. We had burgers and seafood pasta, both rich and delicious. The staff were helpful with suggestions for things to do in town, though I think they have deals with tour companies and may be recommending them for commission. Either way, I appreciated their connection to a lovely three-hour semi-private cruise. Staff aren’t available around the clock, which felt strange. If you need something early in the morning or late at night, there may be no one to help.

Arranging island excursions through the hotel was easy and stress-free, which let me explore at my own pace. The food was delicious, with fresh local ingredients and plenty of choice. My room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a private pool and jacuzzi where I could unwind in the peaceful setting. I came to Santorini on my own, and the friendly staff made me feel safe and looked after from the moment I arrived. It turned into one of my most relaxing and rewarding solo trips. I’d recommend Marvait Suites to solo travelers looking for peace, comfort, and a little luxury.

I was really impressed by what you get for the price. The Superior Suite with hot tub was a treat, with a beautiful view of the island’s east coast, a huge terrace, and a nicely decorated, fully equipped apartment. There was a proper bedroom with a sunset-facing balcony, a bathtub in the bathroom, a spacious living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. I especially liked the terrace and suite lighting, with several switches to go from bright to very dim. The jacuzzi was divine. Hotel tubs are often too hot for me, but this one was just right, with pleasantly fine bubbles. We also enjoyed the pool and restaurant. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, so for supermarkets and restaurants you need to go to the airport or Monolithos. Still, hotel prices were very reasonable, even though they could easily take advantage of their “monopoly.” Orders need to be placed before 8:30pm, and food is served by the pool or brought to your room. Breakfast delivered to the suite was fantastic and only €15. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the airport and offers a free shuttle there and back. Plane noise wasn’t a problem since there are no flights at night. I even enjoyed watching planes take off right in front of the suite. I’ve spent one night on Santorini each summer for the past three years while visiting the Cyclades, using the airport to avoid Athens and the ferry. I’d never found a place I liked until now. Fira feels like a circus, and after three years I wanted to stay well away from town, even though the Caldera view is magical. I chose this hotel more or less by chance. From now on, I’ll stay at Marvarit Suites whenever I’m in Santorini. Thank you!

We only booked one night because we wanted to be close to the airport for an early trip, but I wish we’d stayed longer. The meal we ordered from the hotel restaurant that evening was both the best and most affordable we had on the island. Kudos to the chef. The rooms are new, designed in a Santorini cave style we really liked, and thoughtfully laid out. Our outdoor pool was very relaxing. Parking is just a few meters from the room, which was a welcome change from the tricky parking and long walks you get at some city hotels. Aircraft noise wasn’t much of an issue. The small planes weren’t audible at all, and the larger ones only a little. The rooms are well soundproofed, and watching the planes from the pool was actually really enjoyable. I’d come back, and next time I’d stay more than one night.

We only needed somewhere to stay close to the hotel and didn’t expect it to be this nice. It was spectacular! We’d highly recommend it!
