Hotel Sevilli

We arrived at 4 pm on 14/8, after taking time off work and bringing a child, and were told there was no room for us, even though we had booked a triple room on August 4th for 14-18/8. The owner first said there was no reservation, then that he couldn't find the deposit, and later, after we showed him the receipts and he saw it, said it had been paid late. He'd kept the money and hadn't told anyone he wouldn't accept it. He didn't apologize or try to find us another place. Instead he shouted that we'd woken him and he was tired, then sent us out with our luggage and child. We called the police and the Pelion Hotel Association to report what happened and ask for help. The police were understanding, and someone from the association helped us find somewhere else to stay. I'd read online about a similar incident before. If you still book here, check the reservation carefully, and good luck. Pelion itself is wonderful, and I think this owner is an exception.

The owner was a real professional, and the place was spotless with no bad smells. It's in a good spot, with waves to play in. The building is a little old, but still very good.

The location is great, just three minutes from the beach, and the cleaning lady kept the rooms tidy. That was about all I liked. The owner felt cold and not very welcoming to tourists. The room was small, and the bathroom was the main problem: no curtain, so water got everywhere, and the drain smelled all the time. The building needs renovation. Breakfast was basic and only started at 9, so it doesn't suit anyone hoping to get an early start. Even with the good location, I wouldn't stay here again.

For what it costs, the room is decent, and it's close to both the beach and the shops. There isn't parking, though there's a spot nearby where you can leave the car. The balcony door didn't shut properly. The cleaner did a good job, but came only on the first of our three days. The owner isn't very sociable, but the accommodation itself was fine.
