We had a cozy, wonderful home base for our adventures, and would happily stay at the Adiandi and Amymone again when we return to Napflio. The loft at the Amymone was very cute, with an outdoor space and partial water view. It’s at the top of 54 steps, as my husband counted, and we chose to keep it even after being offered a room with more headspace. The location was great, and we looked forward to the fun, artistic space. Since it’s spread across two or three buildings, we had trouble finding check-in at first. Once we got there, across from Wild Duck, everything went smoothly. They offered us a welcome drink, and there was bottled water in the room. Breakfast was served in the same space and was generous, with lovely fruit, yogurt, honey, and other delicious options.

The reception lady was very kind and the breakfast was incredible. Because of my own messy brain and our airline delays, we had to postpone our booking a couple of times. We were charged for all the nights, which is somewhat fair since the hotel hadn’t done anything wrong. Still, paying for four nights and staying just one isn’t fun. A small discount for skipping breakfast would have been appreciated.

The atmosphere and vibe are incredible, and breakfast is so good. Great espresso and cappuccino too. The hotel is right in the heart of the old town, with public parking just a three-minute walk away. Highly recommend!

I booked directly through their website, entered my payment details, and validated them. I then received a confirmation email and a message from the hotel. A month later, my bank notified me of a rejected fraudulent debit attempt on my card, which I saw was from this hotel. I asked them to explain and checked whether my reservation had been debited. It hadn’t. They gave me an absurd explanation that they could charge the card at any time after booking, and said I needed to pay by bank transfer. The amount they tried to take didn’t even match my reservation. I also noticed that all the emails came from a Gmail account with just the hotel name. The whole thing seemed very suspicious, so I refused the bank transfer and asked to pay securely using the reservation details. They suggested, as a “good solution for both parties,” that I book through Booking.com, which was 36% more than my original reservation. This is a scam to make you pay more if they see their reservations filling up after you book. If you want a secure booking, be aware of this. PS: In response to the crooked answer the hotel posted, the offensive language came after they crooked me and ruined my plans. They deserved to be called what they are.

The hotel is right in Nafplio’s historic center. Our room was cozy, with a balcony onto one of the busy alleys, but it wasn’t noisy at all. The Greek breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend!
