Dias Hotel

Breakfast was amazing, and the room was spotless, with comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower. There were three of us, and the room suited us well, including a balcony looking toward the fort on the hill. We spent three great nights at Hotel Dias. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and the location was perfect. Parking took some figuring out but was manageable. It’s a quaint, comfortable, friendly place, and we loved staying there. The stairs are quite steep and uneven. I’d stay again. Thanks, Hotel Dias!

The owner was nice, and breakfast was great, with homemade pastries and jam, Greek salad, warm croissants, and more. It’s good value for the price, right in the old city and close to everything.

The breakfast was the highlight: not a huge selection, but tasty, mostly homemade food that felt a lot better than the industrial stuff at other hotels. The employees were there to welcome us and answer questions, and they gave us helpful activity and restaurant suggestions. Dias Boutique Hotel is well placed for Nafplio, close to shops and restaurants and just a few minutes on foot from the steps to Palamidi Fortress. It’s worth the climb, though good-grip shoes and decent fitness help. Our room was okay, but the beds were hard and the furniture a little old. We also had to unplug some things to make room for our devices. I stayed June 2-4, 2024. The room wasn’t anything special, but I think Dias Hotel is a good choice, mainly for the location and breakfast.

The owner was such a nice man. My husband twisted his ankle on our first night and needed a cane, so the owner drove me to a shop near the hospital, spoke with the shopkeeper for me, then brought me back. Our room was huge and looked out onto the street, and we had a great stay.
