Myral Guesthouse

We found this a handy base for exploring the south of Greece. The rooms were clean and roomy, and Mario was extremely helpful. Being about 4 km from Nafplio worked well for us since the town gets busy and parking can be difficult. We left the car at the nearby port and walked through the historic center and up to Palamidi Fort. There are also lovely beaches in both directions, including Tolo and Karathona to the east and Astro to the west.

Quiet, cozy place, and the rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and free coffee, and everything was clean. Our bed felt a little too soft for my weight. It's about a 20-minute walk to town, which wasn't ideal with a toddler. You can park along the public road outside. From the ground floor there isn't really a view, since the windows face a small public road with very little traffic.

We spent a week at Myral Guesthouse while visiting Nafplio. It's comfortable and clean, and worked well for us since we had a car but wanted to stay close to the city center. The host speaks excellent Italian. We'd definitely choose it again if we return to Nafplio.

The rooms were lovely, cozy, and spacious. My only small gripe is that there aren't any power outlets by the bed apart from the one used by the bedside lamp. It's manageable, though the owners could perhaps add a multi socket there.
