The family-run staff were very helpful with local information, and there’s plenty of parking. The stone buildings are beautiful, with traditional Victorian-style furniture. It sits on the mountainside for great views, yet is still not far from the beach, castle, or downtown.

We came as three families and booked three rooms in one of the buildings. The rooms were nicely equipped and had a great feel, and the breakfast area had lovely views of the Palmidy fort. It’s a beautiful property. One small thing I expected, given the room rate and the tap water being below optimal, was 3L of water provided daily for each room. It isn't a big issue, but it was a miss. Even so, I’d gladly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nafplio.

Klymeni Traditional Homes made a lovely retreat after our busy sightseeing days. We stayed four nights, outside the busy old town and new town, with fabulous views of the water and castle. Our large room had a separate bedroom plus a living and dining area, and the terrace table was perfect for coffee while looking over the city. The owners and innkeepers were wonderful and available whenever we had questions. They also gave us great suggestions for places to eat and things to see. I’d happily stay again if we return to Nafplio.

Beautiful views, and Nafplio downtown is only about five minutes away. The rooms were excellent, very clean, and well equipped. Lovely traditional style, and the people were warm and welcoming.
