Echoes Luxury Suites

The breakfast was delicious, the views were stunning, and the pools were clean and cleaned each morning while we were there, despite what some earlier reviews said. One small tip: Echoe Suites is reached by going down the stairs just below Mia Restaurant. Tasios made our two days on Santorini easy from check-in through departure. He helped with whatever we needed, arranged our ride, and even offered to carry our bags at 4 AM when we had an early checkout on the second night. He stayed in touch that morning to make sure we reached the airport on time. We’d happily book here again when we return.

Breakfast was splendid, and the upkeep was good. Tasos made sure our stay was perfect, and it really was. We had a great time and would visit again if we get the chance. Thanks for making our Santorini trip so memorable.

We asked three weeks ahead to cancel our two-night booking at €1,500 per night and were told no. Two weeks ahead, we asked if we could just move the dates, and that was refused too. If that’s the policy, fine. But when we called to see if there might be another solution, the person in reservations immediately lectured us about reading the cancellation policy and said it was our problem. There was no curiosity or basic sympathy, not even a simple “Sorry to hear that.” We were asking for help well in advance after an unexpected date emergency, not for a free night, and were met with a cold, unfriendly, insulting tone. One person’s attitude may not reflect the whole hotel, but it ruined the experience before we arrived. At these prices, that lack of grace felt arrogant. **Edited to Reply (5-Sep-‘25)** Thanks for replying. To be clear, we aren’t coming because of an emergency with our dates, and we needed help with that. We didn’t get any, and were treated rudely for asking. We now have to pay you roughly a month’s average salary and get nothing in return. We’re trying to persuade friends to fly all the way there and stay in our place, since we were told that was an option, but we’re 90% sure the room will end up empty. We asked about this a month ago. If you’d helped us change the dates, I’m sure you could have rented the room again. Now, as well as probably having an empty room, you’ve left two very disappointed and sad guests. We could have been great ambassadors for your hotel if we’d had a good experience. At least you’ve got our money for no service. Well done. That says a lot about your priorities.

We loved having our own huge infinity pool looking over the caldera, and the views were incredible. The old cave suite had all the modern amenities, a lovely white look that fits Oia, comfy beds, a very clean feel, and even Netflix on the TVs. It was luxurious without losing its character. Breakfast was easy to arrange through the app the night before. We chose a little later than requested once, but Tasos was accommodating when I messaged him. Each morning he checked whether we wanted to eat inside or out and set everything up beautifully. The staff were delightful, too. Echoes made our Santorini honeymoon better than we could have hoped. It’s only a three-minute walk to Oia’s main street, and taxis are easy to get if you’re heading out. Though with Oia this beautiful, why leave? Thanks to Echoes Luxury Suite and Tasos for a stay that surpassed my expectations. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Oia.
