Gaia Suites

The suite was so thoughtfully put together, elegant, peaceful and spotlessly clean. It felt like a chic little hideaway. The private hot tub was hot and steamy, just the way we like it, and they were happy to adjust the temperature when asked. Dimitris was a gem, warm, friendly and always ready to help. He made everything feel easy and memorable. We went in June, before the peak-season chaos, and got the Santorini buzz without feeling overwhelmed. It also felt like great value for what we got. The Caldera view was completely open, with a huge panorama that made sunrise and sunset feel like a private show. The bedroom was beautiful, and the tub sits high above everything. Tourists kept stopping to take photos right by our spot because it was that amazing, and we were right in the middle of all the activity. We stayed at Canvas Suites, but not for long enough. It felt like a postcard, only better because we were living in it. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Canvas Suites, thanks for the magic, you’ve got our hearts.

Dimitris was such a lovely and helpful host. We went in April, during the low season, and I’d recommend it because it’s less crowded and the suites were much cheaper. The Aether suite was beautiful and carefully decorated. The Caldeira view was completely unobstructed, especially from the jacuzzi upstairs. The bedroom is on the ground floor, with exactly 28 steps up to the jacuzzi, so it’s quite high up. We liked the water very hot, but you can ask them to make it warmer or cooler. Just splendid.

For my first visit to Santorini, I didn’t expect a place this luxurious or service this good. The room, staff and service were all beautiful, and the experience went way beyond what I expected. I’ve traveled to many places, but this one was wow. If you want a calm, peaceful stay with a clean, luxurious feel, this is the place. Thanks for hosting us. I’ll definitely come again soon. The room was magnificent, and Dimitris Kyranos, the manager, was a 10/10, a really great guy. But the luggage attendant treated us badly and was disrespectful. He even made up stories to the manager, and his behavior ruined the stay for me. I’ll never come back or recommend this hotel.
