Sole D'oro Luxury Suites

Leaving Sole d'oro was the only downside. The service was outstanding from arrival to the sad moment we had to go, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a great outdoor area and hot tub. Breakfast was delicious, served either at the bar or in our room. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Oia’s busy shops, restaurants, and stunning views. We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back.

The roof terrace was our favorite spot, with two hot tubs, lots of room to unwind, and an incredible sunset view. Inside, the suite felt both comfortable and luxurious. It had two large bedrooms, another bedroom on the mezzanine, a kitchenette with a breakfast bar, and two lovely bathrooms. The a la carte breakfast had tasty hot and cold choices, and we could eat in the cosy bar or have it brought to the suite at no extra charge. The staff gave us a great welcome, with delicious drinks, help with our bags, and an escort to the suite. The place was even better than the online photos, which rarely happens. We feel lucky we got to stay here and hope to return. I’d definitely recommend this time of year.

We loved having a custom breakfast delivered to the dining room in our suite each morning. It felt personal and made the start of the day feel special. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable, and it was lovely to spend time with friends in such a peaceful setting. Yanni, the F&B Manager, was especially welcoming. He was friendly, made incredible cocktails, and added something special to our evenings. The service was great from the minute we arrived. An incredible five-star stay, and we can’t wait to come back.

The cocktails were the best part of our stay at the Solo de Oro Hotel in Santorini. Giannis. made us the best Porn Star Martini ever, and his own Zombi and Painkiller creations were out of this world. He’s a cocktail artist, with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and spot-on recommendations. From a twist on a classic mojito to drinks we’d never heard of, he brings real personality and care to every pour. Watching him work was a joy, and he was always smiling. Yanis has a way of finding the right drink for your mood. The staff and setting made the place feel special too. Giannis and his wife Ljubka, Katerina and Adonis made the already beautiful ambiance even more memorable. It’s a relaxing place to stay, whether you’re watching the sunset or winding down after exploring. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Thank you, Giannis, Nikos, Katerina and Ljubk.
