Pantheon

After we’d paid and were still drinking our wine, the staff suddenly said the restaurant was closed. They switched off the lights without warning and rushed us out. The main dish was mostly potatoes and tasted as if it had been reheated in a microwave. They also raised the room price by 50€ on the grounds that two other guys had booked it. Those two seemed to be friends of the owner, since they spent the whole dinner smoking and drinking at the same table. The whole experience felt deceptive, and there was little interest in looking after tourists.

The Kreatopia (Greek Meat Pie) was dry and seemed like it had been microwaved. My brother and I had stopped during a road trip for dinner and were considering staying at the hotel, but we didn't feel welcome. The staff weren't hospitable, and as we were finishing our meal they told us the restaurant was closing and we had to leave. I'd suggest staying and eating elsewhere in town.

The host was so kind and friendly, which made the meal even better. We had a vegan lunch, with excellent beans and a fresh-leaf salad alongside stuffed tomato and pepper. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, like the best traditional food at home.

Dinner was great, but breakfast was very average. Our balcony room was small, though adequate for two days. By mid October the sun sets earlier at Pantheon because of its position. The room cleaning felt like someone just doing a job, not being genuinely friendly, and somebody else's Coke was left in the fridge. There was a bath but no plug, so we stuffed toilet paper in to hold the water. The owner didn't seem helpful about finding a plug.
