Michelangelo Beach Villa

The apartment looks nice, but breakfast was a major disappointment. We stayed in the villa for 10 days and got the same products each day to make breakfast ourselves. There were no vegetables or local items, and the bread was just packaged toast. On top of that, breakfast wasn't provided at all for three days. We asked for a refund for those missed breakfasts, but nobody responded to our request. If I'd known what it would be like, I would have chosen somewhere else.

The beds were some of the best I've ever slept in, and even the couch was incredibly comfortable. We got complimentary wine and cake, both of which were really good. From the front porch you can watch the sunset or sunrise, and the setting was lovely, especially in the spa. The shower pressure could be better, but it didn't take away from the stay. Oia is a five-minute drive away, and they give you a cellphone so you can easily reach Olga or call a taxi.

The bedrooms face the roadside, so light sleepers may want earplugs, though there isn't much traffic very late at night. That was the only real downside, and we'd absolutely stay again. Olga made check-in easy and was easy to reach. The place was affordable, about a five-minute drive from Oia, and very clean with all the essentials. We loved the ocean-facing little jacuzzi and the simple decor, which suited a seaside home. Wi-Fi was fast and bathroom water pressure was good. The personal touches were lovely too, with coffee, tea, bread, yogurt and more, and the service was amazing.

The owners were friendly and professional, and the price felt right for what we got. The place is beautiful, clean, nicely decorated, and has lovely sea views. You feel at peace here. Thanks for such a pleasant stay, I recommend it.
