The facilities feel like they’re still getting established. The young trees don’t give much shade yet, hot water often runs out around 5-6 pm, and the playground needs maintenance and more cover from the sun. August swimming can be difficult because northern winds bring big waves, though there is a pool. It’s deep, so it won’t suit small children. The bathrooms were very clean and well looked after, and the tent areas were organised. The staff and owners were friendly, prices reasonable, and there was a different baked dish each day. With more work, it could become a really good campsite in a few years.
