Arapiou Apartments

The first morning set the tone for our stay. We arrived at 7am, well before check-in, and were greeted with warm smiles. Since checkout wasn’t until 11am, our room wasn’t ready, but the hosts let us leave our bags in a storeroom, change, and suggested places for breakfast. They said they’d clean our room as soon as the current guest left. When we came back an hour later, they said we could relax by the pool, offered towels, and let us change again. After a few hours of swimming and sunbathing, they gently woke us from the sunbeds to let us know our room was ready. It was a decent-sized studio, bright and airy, spotless, with a balcony and gorgeous pink petals outside, very Santorini. There was water in the fridge. We showered, napped in the air conditioning, then went down for drinks at the poolside bar. That was only day one! For the rest of the stay, the staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. They gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to go, and answered every question easily. By the end, the place felt like home away from home. Other guests said the same, and some told us they’d been coming back for years. I can see why. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to friends visiting Santorini.

We had a great stay at this friendly, family-run place. The family were always happy to greet us. It’s 100m from the beach, and the pool has plenty of sunbeds. The rooms were really nice, with the best showers in Santorini!

We’re only halfway through this holiday and have already booked for next year. After five stays in Perissa, we’ve found our place at Arapiou Studios. The ground-floor studio is perfect, with a great shower and a terrace that gets shady after about 13.00, a lovely spot to cool off after a sunny morning by the pool. The pool is kept spotless, and there’s a little bar for buying cold drinks and ice cream. Rooms are cleaned every day. Irene, Marinos, and the rest of the family are wonderfully hospitable. The beach, with lots of restaurants and bars, is just a two-minute walk away.

It's a quiet area, probably best for families, couples, or younger groups who plan to spend much of their holiday at the beach. The staff are professional, and the rooms are spacious and very clean.
