Birds Villa Apartments with Heated Pool - Including Car and Breakfast

The pool was broken, with tiles constantly coming loose and sharp holes that felt dangerous. The rooms were just as worrying: loose wires hung from a wall in one bathroom, lights didn't all work, and nasal spray from the previous guest was still there. The bedroom and bathroom doors wouldn't stay shut, so if someone was on the toilet, everyone could see. One bathroom had a missing bracket and the other had a toilet that leaked constantly, with foam coming out in the shower. The toilet brush was full of water and feces. There was dirt, dust and hair everywhere when we arrived. When we showed Alexandra, she got angry and first said it wasn't true because she'd checked herself, then tried to blame us before realizing we'd only been there 10 minutes. The room was never cleaned properly, and she got angry again when we didn't finish breakfast because we weren't hungry after the trip. The door chime was broken and the air conditioner was falling apart. Nothing seemed to have been spent on renovation. We upgraded the free car and ordered one with six seats and two child seats, but the €530 including insurance was exorbitant for the service. The car was scrap, with over 250,000 kilometers, and falling apart. It was an automatic but didn't shift properly; the child seats couldn't be used safely because their holder was missing. The interior light was broken, which was almost a good thing since otherwise it would've stayed on. The doors wouldn't close properly and the seal was broken. On the way back to the airport, we had no child seats because they sent a different car. We can't understand the good reviews and wonder if they're real. We wouldn't recommend this for families, and the location isn't great either. Once and never again. We booked based on Google reviews and were bitterly disappointed.

We booked through Airbnb and paid around 350£ for 6 nights, with breakfast and a car included. The breakfast changed every day, and there was free pickup and drop-off at the airport. The rooms were clean, towels were changed daily, and the area was quiet. It's a 15-minute walk to the beach, and Perrisa beach was my favorite in Santorini, with the softest sand. Really affordable for everything you get.

The staff made this place for us. They were AMAZING 🤩 and gave us the best experience ever. The apartments were comfortable and well equipped, the pool was well maintained, and breakfast changed each day, which made mornings easy. Their rental cars get an A+ from me, check out the cabriolets 😊. If you visit, tell them Anthony says they're all AMAAAZING PEOPLE!

The apartments are practical and the location is convenient, about a 10min walk from the beach, restos and shops. Airport pickup and car rental add great value. Thanks for letting us check out late and leave our bags so we could enjoy our last day in Santorini. Excellent service!
