The ground floor private pool was a great size, even for doing lengths, and breakfast had loads to choose from. The food was cooked fresh and changed each day, with omelettes, bacon, fruit, yogurt, cakes, bread, croissants, juice, coffee, tea and plenty more. We had bed and breakfast. Our room had a mini fridge and air conditioning, a separate toilet and sink, a mirror, and a hair dryer. The walk-in shower had plenty of room. Rooms were always clean, cleaned daily, and the room service was great. The staff were polite, welcoming and helpful. There’s a pub outside the hotel, with a mini market and shops on the front, and a bus stop close by. Local shops are nearby and the beach isn’t far. I’d definitely come back.

The pool area was lovely, with comfortable loungers, and the pool bar and its staff were exceptional. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was great. Maid service was excellent, though door hangers would help: on several occasions the maid woke us early. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff made our five-night stay at Meltemi in early October fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they handled all our questions, including figuring out why our room lost power: we’d overfilled the kettle. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend the hotel. It’s easy to find, about a 15-minute cab ride from the airport and a 20-minute ride from Fira. The hotel sits on a 'main road' with lots of restaurants and souvenir shops right nearby. There’s also a hotel bar that puts on live music and karaoke nights weekly. The seafront is a three-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants and beach club type places where you can rent a sunbed for the day. We stayed in one of the modern rooms. The breakfast room is older and more traditional, and could probably do with updating. Breakfast was quite basic and no frills, but lunch had some delicious options, especially the chicken Gyro. I’m still thinking about it now!

The whole place has such a positive, welcoming feel, and our pool accommodation was cozy and wonderfully peaceful. The staff were kind, helpful, and always ready to lend a hand. A lovely choice for a really quiet holiday. I’d highly recommend it!
