Sunrise Studios In Perissa

Alex and Christina made us feel very welcome. They let my mom and brother check in early after their long trip from Newfoundland, gave us ideas for meals and activities, and Christina shared some of their Easter traditions over the holiday weekend. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel has lots of charm, with colourful decor and an impeccably clean feel. Breakfast had a great range of choices, our beds were comfortable, and we had a beautiful view over the pool. The water was chilly in April, though fine for this Canadian. Shops and restaurants were an easy walk away, and the bus stop was only a few minutes from the hotel.

Alex really helped make our Santorini trip. He suggested a catamaran outing, arranged pickup and the return to the hotel, and helped us choose a day with lighter winds and calmer water. He also pointed us to a local restaurant that was delicious and convenient, and helped us find a travel agent for the ferry to our next stop. The hotel itself was cute and surprisingly roomy inside, with a nice pool, fine breakfast, and a room where we slept well. The staff were helpful, the price was great, and the location put us close to everything in Fira. Santorini is freaking awesome. We’d stay here again.

The owner kindly booked a restaurant for us, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. During our Santorini visit, Hotel Sunrise was a great place to stay. The room and hotel were consistently spotless, and the location worked especially well since we didn’t rent a vehicle. Fira’s bus station is less than a five-minute walk away. Totally recommended!

The bus station in Fira is only steps away, with connections to the rest of the island, which worked perfectly since we weren’t renting a car. We had a great two-night stay and would happily return. Alexis welcomed us warmly and gave us useful ideas for sights, activities, and excursions. She spoke perfect Spanish, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast had plenty of variety, the rooms were well cared for and very clean, and you can get water at a good price right at the hotel. We’ve already recommended it to friends who are visiting in a couple of weeks.
