The one real plus was the location, just a 3-5 minute walk from the beach. Otherwise, this was nowhere near a four-star stay, and even three stars feels too generous. It seemed more like rented rooms with a pool in the middle. My friend and I were there for three nights in mid-April. The man running the place was polite, but it was musty and dirty. Cleaning looked superficial; our slippers turned black. Inside, the toilet bowl was stained and looked unsanitary, and the shower floor was slippery with nothing to grab if you lost your footing. There was no towel rack by the shower. The only one was high up, halfway to the door, and only useful if you were tall. Our twin room had a double bed, a single bed, a closet, and a kitchenette. The single bed was right beside the kitchenette and rubbish bin, which was a strange setup. There was no luggage stand or proper chair, just a high stool. The sheets were paper-thin and the bath towels looked greasy. There’s no reception area or shared sitting room either, so if you’re waiting to meet someone, you have to stand outside on the street.

Getting around was easy from here, with shops and restaurants close by. The front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were quick. My room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was decent and the Wi-Fi worked well. I had a good few nights here. Worth the stay ❤️

What made our time at Dodomar Hotel so memorable was Sami and Mario. Sami was attentive and made every interaction feel personal, while Mario brought a cheerful energy and a constant smile. They helped with transport, suggested local spots, and made sure we had what we needed. The hotel was spotless, nicely designed, and close to Perissa Beach, but their warmth is what made it feel like home. You could see how much they cared about hospitality. I’d happily recommend Dodomar to anyone visiting Santorini. We felt treated like family.♥️🩵♥️🩵
