Pyrgos is a lovely, peaceful village, and getting to Fira is easy with the direct bus. We really loved our stay here. The house was fresh and spotless, with two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a shared private courtyard with a hot tub where we could unwind. Iliou was so helpful and kind. She arranged our airport transfer, let us check in at 7:50 AM, kept us informed about local updates like a power cut notice, and even let us stay until our evening departure. The landlord brought homemade cookies in the morning, a really warm touch. This was one of our best memories from Greece. Highly recommend!

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the place had everything I needed. It was clean and well organized, too. The area felt quiet and safe, with restaurants, a supermarket, and a bus stop just a few minutes away on foot. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and experiencing it for yourself. It’s honestly the best place I’ve stayed in Greece.

We stayed four nights as two couples with a one-year-old, and still can’t get over how beautiful this place is. The house had two separate studio apartments, a shared area, a terrace, and a small heated pool. It’s about a 15-minute drive to the beaches, with very nice restaurants and cocktail spots just a 5-10 minute walk away. Illiou took care of us from the start, even explaining the most convenient parking before we arrived. We were welcomed so warmly, and there was more in the house than we expected: food and drinks like tea, coffee, bread, cheese, and jam, plus a hair dryer for curly hair, a designer ashtray, and a gift keychain. The host left delicious pastries and cookies on the table in the mornings. One of the best places we’ve stayed.
