Hotel Lenox

The owners were incredibly welcoming, and we had a wonderful stay at the Lenox Hotel. The rooms were nice, and we felt so at home here 💙

I really liked how small and simple this family run hotel was. It has only a few rooms, just the cosy sort of place I wanted. I spent a week there in Sept-Oct. At check-in I met Mia, who is Swedish and now part of the Greek family. She was lovely, and I felt welcome right away. My first room faced the side of the building. They told me not to unpack, as they could move me the next day if I wanted a room with a view. Of course I did. The balcony was right above the entrance, facing the street, with a fantastic outlook over Pythagorio harbour. I could see the mountains and sea, and even the airport in the distance. There was a table and two chairs, and I spent ages having breakfast there because I enjoyed the view so much. The room had a double bed, a chair and a few small tables, two with drawers, plus a small fridge, kettle, plates, bowls, a glass, cups and cutlery. There were no cooking facilities, but I only needed a room and wasn’t planning to cook. The bathroom was small but functional, and there was good storage for clothes. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. Towels were changed a couple of times and the bed linen once during the week. I was very satisfied with the cleaning. There’s a cosy terrace with tables and chairs by the entrance, where I sat and chatted with the friendly hosts. The hotel is a bit high up in town, so the view is amazing. It’s also within walking distance of the centre, harbour promenade and beaches. This lovely little hotel is run by a friendly family who made me feel welcome. I’d definitely stay again if I return to Pythagorio.
